Given the rapid spread of COVID-19, and the consequent implementation of the containment procedures adopted by various regions and national governments,
IOCCO – with the aim to guarantee his full operation and reliability for the customers – has innovated his operating procedures and then invested in new operational tools by improving the sharing level of all the steps needed for the remote verification and management of the projects.
Thanks to said investments in new technologies, in the recent months IOCCO carried out all the plant pre-acceptance tests using the virtual presence, and non the physical one, of the customers’ technicians.
Various video systems have been adopted, like 3D technology, 360° and Drones, now currently used by the technical team.
In this way, the involvement of the customer, without any physical presence, is total.
The checks proved to be more effective and deepened, and all technological areas – not normally reachable in physical presence – are acquired by the video systems in full safety.
In addition, and thanks to these methods, all operating parameters, in terms of flow rate, quality and safety, can be better checked in detail and shared among the various entities and the company levels, reducing in this way the risks for IOCCO of further changes at the final destination, and the consequent prolongation of the start-up date and relevant possible additional costs.
Said positive experiences, appropriately assessed, have been now included as standard procedure to carry out the validation phases of project, even if in the presence of the technicians of the customer.
The results provided by these new methods represent a further point of view that allows to further improve both production cycles and products.
