IOCCO has announced that it is now operative at its new location,
originally set up to increase the production area in Vasto,
central Italy.
The new premises of 8,200 sq.m., now also houses its offices
and production area, providing better management of areas but,
above all, the possibility of construction, assembly and testing of
entire production lines.
In fact, in the auto glass industry, the trend is that of connecting
all production processes so as to obtain in-line production starting
from the raw glass right up to the finished product, ready to
be installed in vehicles, while the flat glass sector is also requesting
production lines that are more and more autonomous and
dynamic.
Therefore, the need to test particularly lines that are both complex
and occupying considerable space, has led to the decision to
move all company departments to the Vasto premises, which are
located in the industrial area, near the A14 motorway (Vasto-
Nord exit), and easy to reach the nearby Abruzzo International
Airport (Pescara) just 60km away. Moreover, the commercial
port of Vasto (Punta Penna) and the railway station (Porto di
Vasto) are very near to the company.
Last but not least, energy consumption has been optimized in
the new plant, proceeding with an energy efficiency intervention
in the offices and using renewable energy coming from photovoltaic
panels placed on the roof of the building.
IOCCO’s registered office remain in Cupello, where assembly
also takes place together with the Monteodorisio plant. These
three locations now enable IOCCO to build and manage the
most diverse projects, maintaining, at the same time, the privacy
of each and every client and their projects – a fundamental aspect
of IOCCO’s way of working.
