R&D focus in automotive glass lamination & de-airing
The market is rapidly adopting ultra-thin multilayer stacks and advanced interlayers (PDLC, PVB, SPD, XIR). Since 2012, IOCCO has developed high-throughput assembly and pre-lamination solutions that precisely control lay-up, extract trapped air and encapsulate functional layers. Recent deployments across China, Europe, Mexico, North and South America validate performance and scalability.

Lines can achieve cycle times of ~18 seconds per glass (application-dependent). Sensors and control software tune parameters per SKU and maintain full process traceability, adjusting setups automatically in case of anomalies.
Automotive glass lamination platforms: vacuum bag & ring furnaces
With major glass makers, IOCCO re-engineered the Vacuum Bag Furnace (VBF) and developed standardized, modular solutions targeting a 24/7 ROI of ~48 months (assumptions apply). Solutions are production-proven and track data down to the single lite to satisfy OEM requirements.
