Façades and interiors
Glass for façades, partitions, doors and balustrades.
ARCHITECTURAL & APPLIANCE GLASS
Dedicated machines and integrated lines for architecture, interiors and appliances.
IOCCO designs and builds handling and automation solutions around the product: dimensions, finish and processing route guide the development of every supply.
01 / APPLICATIONS
The production route starts with the characteristics of the glass.
Dimensions, thickness, weight and finish determine how the product is gripped, oriented and transferred. Production mix and sequences guide the choice of stations and connections.
Glass for façades, partitions, doors and balustrades.
Hobs, oven doors, refrigerator doors and shelves.
Mirrors, coated and acid-etched glass, decorative and safety applications.

02 / LINES AND INTEGRATION
From a single operation to the line flow.
Feeding, transfers and unloading connect process machines with buffers and inspection. The project distinguishes IOCCO equipment from interfaces with third-party systems.
APPLICATION / COATER LOADING AND UNLOADING
Application requirement. Feed the coater and transfer the outgoing glass to subsequent stages, respecting its dimensions, orientation and surface characteristics.
Complexity to manage. Contact points, gripping surfaces and buffer areas must be compatible with the product and the interfaces of the treatment machine.
IOCCO's contribution. Handling design and coordination of loading, unloading and transfer sequences. The coating process and the responsibilities of the different equipment suppliers remain distinct within the project scope.
Operational value. Machines are connected along a route defined around the glass to be treated, with agreed interfaces and transfer conditions.
Let's discuss the product and interfacesSolutions can cover a new line or the upgrade of part of an existing plant.

The route connects sheet feeding, cutting and breaking, format separation and transfer. For an offline line, incoming sizes, outgoing products and connections with existing machines are defined.
Handling accompanies the glass through the stages of the acid-etching process. Design considers contact surfaces, the working environment and interfaces with treatment equipment.
Loading and unloading connect the coater to the production flow. Orientation, gripping surfaces and buffer areas must respect the characteristics of the glass and coating.
Handling connects mirror production with the specified safety processes. The scope distinguishes product treatment, transfers and inspection.
The line prepares the product for shipment. Formats, protection, identification and containers determine stations and buffer areas.
Loading, transfer and unloading are linked to the tempering process. Sizes, thicknesses and furnace interfaces define the equipment and sequences to integrate.
03 / STANDALONE MACHINES
Machines dedicated to different production activities.
A single operation can be automated independently or incorporated into a line. Explore the four areas to see the machines and their applications.
Connect incoming material, processing stages and product destinations.

Glass pickup and placement at machine entry and exit, with dedicated gripping and orientation.

Loading stations from racks, designed around the support geometry and line flow.

Transport between stations with supports compatible with size, weight and surface finish.

Sorting glass to different destinations according to format and production sequence.
Integrate the treatment required before the next stage.

Powder deposition on glass before subsequent operations, with parameters defined for the finish.

Powder removal before the next operation, according to surface requirements.

Polishing equipment integrated into the processing route. The required finish and glass conditions guide the configuration.
Separate, stack and prepare sheets for handling.

Application of spacers to separate sheets in the pack. Material, position and frequency depend on the product.

Stacking downstream of the line to organise the product in the required sequence.

Handling and placement to form the pack, taking account of the container and sheet protection.
Organise available material and remove waste.
04 / ENGINEERING AND CONTROL
A project defined around the product and the plant interfaces.
Analysis of formats, surfaces, mix and layout to identify operations, constraints and verification criteria.
PLCs, robots and supervision connect the stations. Product identification and interfaces with factory systems are defined within the project.
Commissioning, training and assistance support plant operation and subsequent upgrades.
