Corporate Social Responsibility accessibility in action:
a concrete contribution advancing safe, inclusive participation in sport.
Lanciano (CH), Italy – 24 February 2026 – As part of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility accessibility and community inclusion, IOCCO supported the purchase and donation of a specialized pool lift for people with disabilities at Lanciano Sport Center, improving safe and assisted access to the swimming pool.
The donation was made possible through the joint contribution of IOCCO, the Lions Club Lanciano Frentania, and the Rotary Club Lanciano Costa dei Trabocchi, demonstrating how business and associative organizations can collaborate to create measurable social impact.
The pool lift was officially placed in the water and tested for the first time in the presence of Alessandra Petrucci CEO of IOCCO and Lions Guida; Luigi Spadaccini, Lions Guida of the Lions Club Lanciano Frentania; Barbara Rosati and Graziella Cianfrone representing the Rotary Club Lanciano Costa dei Trabocchi. Representing Lanciano Sport Center were Franco D’Intino, President of the facility, and Simona Fattore, Head of Marketing.
“For me, accessibility means inclusion. Every person should have the opportunity to experience sport safely and with appropriate support. When associative engagement and entrepreneurial responsibility move in the same direction, inclusive participation becomes a concrete reality.”
Alessandra Petrucci · Lions Guida · CEO, IOCCO
“Another step forward toward a facility that is increasingly accessible and capable of welcoming everyone, promoting sport as a tool for integration and social growth. My heartfelt thanks to those who believed in this initiative.”
Franco D’Intino · President, Lanciano Sport Center
CSR leadership, associative engagement and measurable accessibility impact
The initiative reflects the dual commitment of Alessandra Petrucci and Luigi Spadaccini, both Lions Guida, whose associative leadership complements their professional responsibilities. Their engagement highlights how associative organizations and enterprise can converge to generate tangible and lasting social value.
Through this project, IOCCO translates its values into concrete action, integrating social responsibility with structured collaboration among business, associative organizations, and local institutions.
This initiative reflects IOCCO’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility accessibility strategy, focused on generating long-term social value through practical and measurable actions aligned with international CSR principles.
