IOCCO together with Cugher, Triulzi and Mappi will lead the Vitrum 2017 in Milan showing the 4×4.0 PROJECT.
Industry 4.0 is not still a dream for glass makers and the cooperation between these 4 brands will show an example of the new industry revolution. The Industry 4.0 where the Internet of Things plays a huge role thanks to the sheer volume of sensors and “things” that have the potential to feed information into it and add value to manufacturing processes. During Vitrum exhibition IOCCO will perform a demonstration of a Pick & Place Robot with Vision System which in this case is the junction between the silk screen printing line and the tempering line to process Home Appliance Glass. It’s the matching hub to manage both lines and it enables to connect two different processes which run with different methods of output/input.
This is just an easy example to show the huge range of products and solutions for connections, applications, handling, palletizing, processing, etc. that IOCCO can supply to glass industry.
