The biggest De-Airing
Vacuum Bag Furnace

ever built is even technologically advanced

IOCCO has designed, built and installed the biggest Vacuum Bag Furnace in the world, also able to process large-sized coated ultra-thin automotive glass OEM such as Sunroofs.

IOCCO’s R&D team has made a number of important technological changes regarding the process cycle, the vacuum control system during De-Airing of the glass, and, above all, with regards to energy savings.
These investments carried out by IOCCO to reach goals in terms of energy efficiency, optimization and control of the technological processes, are motivated by the new expectations of government bodies and auto manufacturers; the latter requesting ever more coated, ultra-thin glass in larger sizes, mass produced by plants with ultra-high control and automation systems in line with the Smart Factory philosophy.

As top configuration

the IOCCO bag furnaces include the tracking production data up to single glass, by the light of current requirements of primary worldwide car manufacturers.
All our solutions allow our customers, through sustainable investments, to increase their production in accordance with the performances agreed in the original request.
Main advantage of the vacuum bag furnace is to produce in full automatic way different kinds of glass, even having complex and asymmetric shapes, and avoiding heavy interventions for change-overs.
During the design and the fabrication particular attention has been dedicated in choosing and checking the installed commercial parts: in fact, all the components making part of the furnace are supplied by global companies, leaders in their specific field.
Thanks to the complete redesign, all maintenances prove to be small and simple to do.

IOCCO has therefore responded to the challenge of one of its ‘historic’ clients, to develop part of a new fully automated plant capable of producing very high-tech auto glass in a completely automatic way without any human intervention, from the loading of the raw glass to the finished glass ready to be installed in the car.
